Altar Call Workers
Each year Spirit West Coast has averaged hosting 15 altar calls and historically seen approximately 400 people give their lives to Jesus PER FESTIVAL! The altar calls that take place during the evenings plus a few select altar calls during the day are conducted by ministry-driven bands and speakers and need as many as 200-350 workers to assist in helping people come to Jesus.
If the desire of your heart is to help in reaping this harvest, SWC could use your willingness. Training is conducted 'on-site. You must attend a one-hour training session to receive information and to understand the process that SWC uses for tracking the "fruit" from the altar calls. The times and locations of the Evangelism training will be posted in the program of events that you can pick up when you enter the festival grounds. Altar Call Workers must agree to help primarily in the evening altar calls when a scheduled evangelist will present with Gospel message with an altar call. Note: Individuals responding to this call do NOT sign up as regular volunteers and do not receive the normal volunteer t-shirt or benefits since they only work a limited amount of time during the altar calls.
