Spirit West Coast - Del Mar will be held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds San Diego County, California, May 28-30, 2010.
Gates Open: The property opens on Friday at 9:00 a.m. for campers, and the gates to the event area open at 1:00 p.m. for the general public. Friday concerts and activities begin at 2:00 p.m. and end at 12:00 midnight.
ATM service - There are four ATM machines located inside the Fairgrounds and one located just outside the main entrance, near the festival Box Office.
Alcoholic beverages and drugs - are not permitted on the festival grounds. Anyone found under the influence or in possession of these substances will be escorted off the property and/or referred to local law enforcement.
Artist Merchandise - is available for sale at the Christian Examiner Exhibit Hall.
Beach - the nearby Del Mar beach can be accessed by foot from a walking path located near the Orange Camp.
Bicycles - are not allowed in the event area of campgrounds.
Camp curfew - is at 12:30 a.m. Please respect your fellow campers by remaining at your campiste and containing all noise after the curfew. The property will be secured and no one will be allowed "in or out."
Campfires - Open flame campfires are not permitted. Metal camp stoves and charcoal cookers may be used for food preparation only. Charcoal must be deposited in red ash cans marked "Hot Ash Only." Del Mar Fairgrounds' fire control rules will be stricly enforced, no exceptions! This policy applies to all camping areas.
Chairs - no lawn chairs allowed. Seating provided at all venues except those designated as "audience standing" venues.
Children - Childcare is not provided at any time during the festival - the Children's Area is not a childcare program. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times. Lost children should be taken to the Information/Lost & Found booth located along the main street by the Clock Tower and across from the Christian Examiner Exhibit Hall (Bing Crosby Hall). If you report a lost child, it is critical that you report back when the child is found so the lost alert is called off.
Disabled Parking - is available. A state-issued placard is required. Cars parked in disabled zones without the blue placard will be ticketed by law enforcement agencies.
Dress/Clothing - Please dress with modesty. Shirts and shoes are required at all times and no swimsuits plesae. Also keep in mind that Del Mar weather can vary from pleasant days to moderately cool at night. Bring jackets and/or sweaters to dress in layers.
Exhibit Hall hours - Friday: 1:00 - 11:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday: 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. Dozens of exhibitors showcase their businesses, art, ministries, music and products at the Christian Examiner Exhibit Hall.

First Aid/Ambulance - there are two first aid stations located on the grounds. One station is in the Grandstand Building (east end), and the second stations i located at the C28 Arena Stage. For safety reasons, shoes must be worn at all times. An ambulance is on-site from 9:30 a.m. until midnight. If ambulance service is required, the person requiring the trip is responsible for the fees incured.
Food and Water - there is a wide variety of food available for purchase from vendors on the festival grounds. Event food vendors are not under SWC's direction but are managed by the concessionaire for the Del Mar Fairgrounds. No outside food or beverages may be brought into the event activity area (okay in camping areas).
General Store - the Fairgrounds operates the Stable Cafeteria and General Store in the Yellow Camp (open daily 9 a.m. - 11 p.m.). Items available include ice, water, charcoal, earplugs, batteries, lotions, basic staples (bread, cereal, eggs), etc.
Grandstand Stage Seating - Spirit West Coast has a "No Seat Saving" policy. Seats in general seating areas are to be filled on a first come, first sit basis. Ushers will remove personal belongings left on seats to the end of those aisles. Reserved seats can be purchased for the Air 1 Grandstand Stage (see below under "Reserved Seating).
Handicapped - See "Disabled Parking" or "Wheelchair Seating"
Hotel Lodging - The nearby vacation resort areas of San Diego have a good number of rooms available in various price ranges. Make your reservacations early. Check the page for referrals.
Hours/Schedule - Gates open at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Concerts and activies being at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday and end just before 12:00 midnight. You must leave the public activity area promptly at the conclusion of the Late Nite concerts (12:00 midnight).
Information Booth - personnel will be able to answer your questions and help direct you to various areas of activity on the festival grounds. There are two Information Booths: one located along the main street by the Clock Tower (see program map) and one is at Check-In Row, just outside the Main Entrance. General Information is available, as are registration forms and entry deposit boxes for the "Win Free Tickets to SWC 2011" contest.
Late Nite concerts - take place each night at the Seaside Pavilion and other venues, 10:30 - 11:45 p.m.
Literature distrubution - is not permitted under any circumstances. No unauthorized materials may be sold or posted - strictly enforced. Please do not stick decals/stickers on buildings or signs - they damage property.
Litter/Trash - please help keep the festival grounds clean by disposing of all trash in the nearest trash can. Please "police" your camping area when you break camp. Please crush and compact your trash as much as possible. Managing the trash is an ongoing concern at an event this large.
Lost and Found - All lost and found items should be taken to and retrieved from the Information/Lost & Found booth located along the main street by the Clock Tower and across from the Christian Examiner Exhibit Hall (Bing Crosby Hall).
Moshing - Moshing, slamming and crowd surfing can be extremely dangerous. Please respect everyone's safety by refraining from this dangerous behavior.
Music store - The Rockpile is the official music store of the festival and can be found in the Christian Examiner Exhbit Hall.

OHVs/Motorized scooters prohibited - The Del Mar Fairgrounds property is subject to the California Vehicle Code. Certain off-highway vehicles (gators, quads, etc.) and motorized (Go-ped) scooters are prohibited including in the camp areas. The SWC staff uses a limited number of golf carts in order to conduct unecessary transportation business. Such usage of property identified vehicles by authorized personnel is not to be misconstrued as inconsistency with this policy. SWC is committed to maintaining a safe and legal environment.
Parking and Traffic - parking passes are only available for purchase onsite: $9 per day per vehicle (no in/out privileges). $27 parking passes available, good for entire event with in/out priviledges at public lots. $27 pass also good for overnight parking at the practice track/Orange campground (no overnight parking in public lots). $27 pass good for one, two, or all three days. The North San Diego County Sheriff's Department will ticket illegally parked cars. Vehicles parked in designated "no parking" areas will be towed at the owner's expense.
NOTE FOR CAMPERS: There is one camp pass and one load-in pass issued for each campsite. The camp pass is for one vehicle at a campsite. A load-in pass allows one extra vehicle to unload people and/or gear at the campsite. A load-in pass also allows free overnight parking for one vehicle at the practice track/Orange Campground.
Pets - are not allowed on the festival grounds or campgrounds except seeing-eye dogs.
Police/Sheriff - The Del Mar Fairgrounds operates under the jurisdiction of the North San Diego County Sheriff's Department and other law enforcement agencies. SWC volunteer security personnel are not extensions of these agencies. Fairgrounds security teams are also on the property at all times and the sheriff's department will be called in as necessary. in the event of a serious emergency, call 911.
Prayer Tents - are at two locations: across from the Clock Tower and at the C28 Arena Stage skate park area. These tents are staffed with friendly prayer counselors during festival hours.
RV Dump - RV tank pump services will be available on Sunday. See camp manager for additional informatioh.
Reserved Seating (Air 1 Grandstand Stage) - There will be approximately 1,200 reserved seats available, which is only 10% of the total seating in the grandstands. These seats are valid only for the late afternoon and evening shows, 2pm-10pm on Friday and 4pm-10pm Saturday and Sunday. Children ages 5 and under will not be required to have a seat purchased if they will be sitting on a lap. ALL ages required a ticket if they are going to take up a seat. The seats will be priced from $12 - $35 each (per day) and are available for purchase online. This is an upgrade ticket, sold separely from regular wristband tickets. Reserved-seat tickets valid only when used with a wristband ticket. Pre-sale of Reserved Grandstand seats will be from Jan. 11 - May 21, 2010 (subject to supply). Any remaining seats will be available at the Box Office at the Main entrance to the Fairgrounds. These will likely be single seats only. They will go on sale Friday (5/28), beginning at 1:00 pm. Purchase limit: 6 tickets per person, per festival day (Fri/Sat/Sun). EXCEPTION: No limit on reserved Grandstand seat ticket purchased IF equal number of event tickets are purchased at the same time. See Tickets page for details.
Security - teams will be on duty throughout the day and night. However, it is suggested that all valuables be locked in your car or secured otherwise. All attendees are expected to cooperate with all festival policies and guidelines, staff and security personnel. SWC is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
Showers - are located in all of the camping areas. Check with each shower unit for hours of operation. Please shower quickyl - others are waiting!
Skateboarding and rollerblading - are only allowed inside the fenced Skate Park. Please respect this policyso that the Skate Park can return next year. Every Skate Park participant will be required to sign a risk waiver. Minors must have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian. There will be no rental of gear. Inflatable games and action activities, such as the Treehouse Slide and mechanical bull, require usage fees. Check with vendors on-site for hours and fees.
Sunday Morning Service - with incredible praise and worship music and a special guest speaker will be held at the Air 1 Grandstand Stage 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Note: Local festival-goers are encouraged to attend THEIR home church on Sunday morning, then come over to the festival for the afternoon and evening.
T-shirts and SWC Merchandise - Available at SWC Merch booths in various locations.
Teaching Seminars - are held daily on Saturday and Sunday. Seminars are recorded on CDs and are available for purchase onsite at the Information/Los & Found booth.
Telephones - Pay phones are located throughout the festival grounds and activity areas.
Terrace Club - In Del Mar , the patron program is Terrace Club. This program features reserved seating and a VIP meet 'n greet reception with artists. Terrace Club tickets are sold individually.

Tickets and Wristbands - SWC will not be responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced tickets. No refunds will be given. Wristbands must be worn on wrists only and are invalid if they are cut. Always be prepared to show your wristband when passing through admission gates.

Ushers - will be on duty during all concerts to help keep aisles clear, maintain order, and assist in marking all performances safe and enjoyable for all. Please follow their directions.

Video/Recording - Videotaping or audio recording of any concert or seminiar is prohibited due to copyright laws. This policy is stricly enforced.
Volunteers - it takes approximately 1,000 volunteers to make SWC operational. Volunteers receive variouis discounts depending on the lenghth of time they work. Think about joining the "make it happen" team, we need you!
